These art works are collaborated by Kotaro Yokomizo, a Japanese photographer who has been living in Chiang Mai since 2020 with works published in France, and Cobird, a Japanese textile designer and artist who is specialized in collaging textile with other media. These art pieces are created by using portrait photos of the young generation of Sanpakoi area woven with the map of Sanpakoi. This idea represents the concept that from now on "Sanpakoi" one of the old business area of Chiang Mai will be gradually developed by the younger generation to bring back this area to life and sustainability. These 2 large woven photographs will be installed on to the wall of Anusarn Building, an almost 90 year old building in the Sanpakoi area. At the same time, there will also be another art installation by Kotaro Yokomizo. Large photos of Sanpakoi area will be printed on fabric and hung in the garage area of Anusarn Building. These art works will be created especially for Sanpakoi area to be able to join the up coming Chiang Mai Design 2023 and has never been published or exhibited anywhere before.
