SEWN Handicraft Studio was founded in 2019 by two partners from two different disciplines—a jewelry designer and an interior designer—who share a deep passion for craft and a belief in the hidden value of overlooked materials. We embrace a philosophy of CIRCULAR CRAFT, blending contemporary design with the use of reclaimed and recycled materials—such as stone veneer scraps, leather, metal, and other industrial surplus.
Each piece is seen as holding a quiet potential, waiting to be reawakened through intentional and thoughtful design at every step.
SEWN jewelry is not only an expression of beauty—it also questions today’s production systems and invites people to reconnect with their roots, local materials, and a form of sustainability that feels tangible. We are committed to minimizing waste, maximizing material use, and promoting local resources in a way that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—especially responsible production, fair employment in craft-based systems, and environmental preservation.
Each of our collections is a dialogue between past, present, and future—seen through the lens of meaningful craft. We aim to subtract limitations of gender or form, opening space for everyone to express their identities freely.
For CMDW2025, SEWN presents creations that reinterpret the playful spirit (“son”) and Thai creativity through a contemporary lens—rooted in pride for our craft heritage, yet reaching outward in harmony with the world.
