"Baby Ja Jazz" is a play on words derived from the name of "DJ Baby Scash," a highly talented DJ from Chiang Mai. She has won numerous competitions, such as the Red Bull DJ competition. Siam Jazz is excited to invite Baby Scash to join "Siam Jazz & Friends," a sub-project of Siam Jazz that regularly invites individuals interested in Jazz to share their perspectives through vinyl spinning, DJing, and talk sessions. Knowing that Baby Scash possesses talent beyond DJing—specifically, singing, for which she also won an award in a project by The Photo Sticker Machine—we invited her to DJ with us. Her task was to interpret and present Jazz music in her own style. The event was set to evolve from her DJ set into a collaborative performance with a live Jazz band from Noir Jazz Bar. Ultimately, Baby Scash transitioned from DJing to becoming a Vocalist, singing Jazz songs with the Noir Jazz Bar band. In addition to the live performance, we also presented a "Behind the Scenes Session," where we opened up the actual rehearsal process of the DJ and the band to the public. This allowed the audience to experience the behind-the-scenes process of how artists and DJs rehearse and work together to create a single show.
